So a Christmas song with 160 plays, no reviews and no playlists is #1 in the Earth chart, the North America Chart, the United States chart and 5 others in April. Everything is normal in Broadjam world then............................

I actually gave 5 stars to that Xmas song (which is pretty damn good for the genre), not sure it deserves the top of the podium though. Some people pay for promotion so I guess that helps songs to reach the BJ skies
There's nothing wrong with the song David, just how things work on here at the moment! Not just the top of one podium, top of 7 podiums, for a song most people are most unlikely to play in late April. The charts have long been a mystery to me, and they're not getting any easier to understand. However, it seems that now those who pay for song promotions automatically dominate the whole shebang, it's not particularly subtle and has simply undermined any kudos there once was for getting chart places. Let The Good Times Roll indeed Art!

Barry, just listened to your newest song, there's a few pitchy places in the vocals, that need to be fixed, but it's got some really funny lines, great comedic country tune!! I appreciate the comment coming from a prolific artist/combo like yourselves.... I'm coming off a medical issue that paralyzed my throat so vocals are a weak spot of late, can only record them a piece at a time over days.... I am having fun with it either way --- -- references to all the published stuff from music companies is mostly instrumental and not on Broadjam here due to their rights of distribution -- but the relationships were initiated here on Broadjam.... and for all the effort and volume of tunes I probably average only $40-50 in royalties a quarter --- yes the music biz is alive and well !!!!! haa haa Thanks again Art!!!!

Somehow, tonight I wound up listening to "Mom's Journey Home", and it just crippled me Frank. Yesterday I lost my college fraternity brother from SAE, from 50 years ago! I sat around noodeling for the right song--but-NOPE! Then I heard this---it was like an angel sent it! Exactly what I prayed for! This is one of the most beautiful-explosive songs I have ever heard! Hi Corey's! It is always a pleasure to listen to your projects . You are talented and I hope that you are not discouraged by all the stuff I throw at you! To the song Change is Coming: This is actually two songs in one. The background is competing with the singer instead of supporting her. Fewer notes and longer chords are needed, as a critic told Mozart: "Mr. Mozart, too many notes." Whenever the singer is told to raise the volume she does it intellectually instead of using her total body to belt it out (think Janis Joplin). She sounds as if she is holding back what she is capable of. In all: This song has the potential for a next level. All the best, Klaus

Hey Kevin, thanks for liking and reviewing Chicken in the Pan....now what are YOU Having for dinner tonight? (ha ha - I am mostly a vegetarian!) But not 100%! I wrote that song for a gig I had when I sang at the Alabama Chicken and Egg festival in 2010. I felt like I needed to write a chicken song if I went to that festival. When I perform the song I have a chicken puppet that an audience member appropriates. It's a lot of fun! Mrs. Kate

Hi Kevin! Thanks for your recent review of "Who Owns the Sun"! I must say I've never had a lower score on this song. This jewel has been #1 on World, and #2 on World Beat for almost 2 years now! I would advise in the future to stay 3 or above in your reviews in case you're having a "bad hearing day". A score of 20 rips the song right out of the top ten immediately! catnip=+=

Hey Pat, Thanks for the GREAT review of the instrumental version of my song, "The Transportation Blues". I really loved your feedback.
